From working market towns, pretty harbours and chocolate box villages to bustling seaside resorts, such as Minehead and Englands "Little Switzerland" of Lynton and Lynmouth, you will find a variety of towns and villages around Exmoor.
Some of the villages are tucked away and hardly ever see a visitor, but still have welcoming pubs selling excellent food. Others, like Dulverton, are thriving small towns providing all the day-to-day needs of the surrounding villages and hamlets with butchers, bakers, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants which locals and visitors alike enjoy.
The pace of life in Somerset and North Devon is leisurely, people still have time to stop for a chat, so relax and enjoy some of the places where the modern world seems a million miles away.
